FIVI (Italian Federation of Independent Winemakers): “best buy” wines under 15€

We came back  from the “Mercato dei Vini dei Vignaioli Indipendenti” event (in Piacenza) revitalised: it beat our record, over 20.000 visitors came to this 2019 edition!

It was three days of tastings, meetings and workshops.

At the end of the three days, Davide Bassani, a journalist for #Intravino, an independent collective wine blog that provides daily feedback and news about the “world of wine”, drew up a ranking of the best wines for less than 15€ and…and the Lambrusco Suoli Cataldi from Podere Giardino was included in this list!

We reproduce here the relevant part of the article for Podere Giardino:

Podere Giardino – Suoli Cataldi Lambrusco Marani 100% Metodo Classico: in my opinion, this is the future of Lambrusco in terms of quality and craftsmanship. Classic method with refinement on yeasts for 30 months, 9.90 euros of pleasure, an unexpected persistence and the perlage typical of an excellent Franciacorta wine”.
